ENPAY One and Three Phase Harmonic Reactors for Detuned Filter circuits, are mainly used in consumer systems whose load includes high proportion of power electronic devices such as ac/dc converters, motor drives and/or other power electronics applications in industry.
Harmonic Fitler Reactors in industrial establishments are utilized for preventing the harmonics which exceed the allowed limits.
Harmonics in different frequencies exceeding these limitations are eliminated via connecting reactors in series with the capacitors aimed for the power factor improvement to form a series resonant circuit of which empedance is at minimum. Thus, the harmful affects of the harmonics to the system are minimized.
The main purpose is to eliminate the harmonic currents and voltages in different frequencies while the power factor improvement is performed. ENPAY Detuned Filter Circuit Reactors are manufactured utilizing Grain Oriented Si-Steel, in Stacked or Strip wound core shapes, and are connected in series with the power capacitors.
